Becoming a Member

If you would like to become a member of BWA, the following information explains the procedure for membership application.

Please download and view the following documents:

Having carefully read through the Articles of Association and noting all the rights and obligations of membership, the application form should be fully completed and returned to BWA

Your application will be put to the BWA Board of Directors for approval. Please note that the Board of Directors have the absolute right to approve or reject any application without being required to explain their decision.

On receipt of approval from the Board of Directors, you will be sent an invoice, which will be for your subscription payment and joining fee. The subscription payment will be calculated on the period of time from approval of application to the year-end. The joining fee is a one-off payment, equal to half the annual subscription for the respective grade of membership.

On receipt of your payment, your membership of BWA will be confirmed and you will be added to our membership database and given access codes to the BWA "members only" web site domain. You will also be able to nominate your representatives for the Board of Directors and various subcommittees that are relevant to your grade of membership.
